Mission Statement

    

​     The mission of the Port Chester Housing Authority is to provide, operate and maintain safe and affordable federally subsidized housing for low income families and senior citizens under the policies, procedures and regulations promulgated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

        In 2014, the PCHA was recognized with the "Most Improved Housing Authority" award by the Housing Authority Insurance Group!  This national award honors Public Housing Authorities throughout the country for managing, reducing and eliminating insurance risk.  During the years 2009 - 2011, PCHA's loss history has had the greatest decline in frequency and severity compared to other agencies in [our] size category. We're proud of our accomplishments, and we'll continue to work hard to reduce risk and expenses, and to ensure the safety of our tenants!
